We are looking for you as of 01.01.2026 as / Nurse / Nurse / Nurse / Nursing Specialist (m/f/d)

in the function of Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d)

for our acute psychiatry in the Center for Mental Health of the Helios Park-Klinikum Leipzig.

• You will form a management team with the ward management and will be jointly responsible for the organisation and conceptual management of the nursing team, taking into account and complying with all relevant legal framework conditions and corporate goals
• You will take over the absence replacement of the nursing management and all associated tasks, such as personnel scheduling, absence management and organization of an efficient meeting culture
• They ensure evidence-based nursing care, including its documentation and coding according to the ward concept
• You will be responsible for the active further development and implementation of the hospital's internal nursing organisational structures and nursing-specific topics with reference to the corresponding national expert standards and current nursing science developments in their field, including psychiatry-specific therapeutic content
• Your area of responsibility will include the deputy participation in regular communication appointments and ensuring the transfer of information to subordinate employees and interprofessional cooperation
• You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the company's and clinic's goals (e.g., Group Transparency Policy, HELIOS Code of Conduct, checklists, internal reviews, joint visits, etc.) in the area of responsibility, promoting an open and constructive error culture

• You are a trained nurse (m/f/d) or have comparable training
• You have completed further training to manage a ward or are willing to complete this further training in the foreseeable future or have a degree in the relevant field of study
• Specialist health and nursing for psychiatry or several years of experience in psychiatric or psychotherapeutic work desirable
• Assertiveness, teamwork and conflict skills as well as personal suitability for a management position
• You can inspire other employees and teammates for the profession in nursing
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
