in the function of Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d)

for our acute psychiatry department in the Center for Mental Health at Helios Park-Klinikum Leipzig.

• You form a management team with the ward manager and are jointly responsible for the organization and conceptual management of the nursing team, taking into account and complying with all relevant legal framework conditions and corporate objectives
• You will cover for the nursing manager in their absence and take on all associated tasks, such as staff deployment planning, absence management and organizing an efficient meeting culture
• You will ensure evidence-based nursing care, including documentation and coding in accordance with the ward concept
• You will be responsible for the active further development and implementation of the hospital's internal nursing organizational structures and nursing-specific topics with reference to the relevant national expert standards and current nursing science developments affecting your area, including psychiatry-specific therapeutic content
• Your area of responsibility includes deputy participation in regular communication meetings and ensuring the transfer of information to subordinate employees and interprofessional cooperation
• You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of corporate and clinical goals (e.g. Group transparency regulations, HELIOS management code, checklists, internal reviews, joint rounds, etc.) in your area of responsibility, promoting an open and constructive error culture

• You are a trained nurse / health and nursing professional (m/f/d) or have comparable training
• You have completed further training to manage a ward or are willing to complete this further training in the foreseeable future or have a degree in a relevant subject
• Specialist health and nursing care for psychiatry or several years of experience in psychiatric or psychotherapeutic work desirable
• Assertiveness, teamwork and conflict management skills as well as personal suitability for a management position
• You can inspire other employees and teammates for the nursing profession
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
