For the emergency room of the Clinic for Children and Adolescents of the Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinic Wiesbaden, we are looking for a full-time and part-time

Senior physician (m/f/d) with a specialization in neonatology to lead
pediatric emergency room and pediatric shock room

• Management and design of the emergency room of the clinic for children and adolescents, including a pediatric shock room in Germany's largest new building
• Medical care and care of neonatal and pediatric patients at the interdisciplinary PICU/NICU and the neonatal intermediate care ward as well as in general pediatrics as part of the on-call service
• Medical accompaniment of baby NAW missions as part of the on-call service
• Regular participation in and design of further education and training courses
• Participation in quality assurance projects and surveillance programs as well as in other working groups, also interdisciplinary and cross-professional groups

• Specialist recognition in the field of paediatrics and adolescent medicine, specialisation in neonatology
• Willingness to undergo further education and personal development
• Leadership and social skills as well as management skills
• Goal-oriented, cooperative leadership style based on team spirit and the ability to motivate and develop employees
• Identification with the goals and guiding principles of the Clinic for Children and Adolescents
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinics Wiesbaden are a hospital of the state capital Wiesbaden and the Helios Clinics Group, as well as an academic teaching hospital of the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. The clinic for children and adolescents has a Level I perinatal centre and operates a baby ambulance. Furthermore, a day clinic with various pediatric subspecialties, an emergency room with a pediatric shock room and a social pediatric center belong to the clinic for children and adolescents. There is close cooperation with the departments of paediatric surgery, neurosurgery, trauma surgery, ENT, ophthalmology and urology.
