To strengthen our team in the Hematology and Oncology Clinic (Ward 22) at the Emil von Behring Clinic in Berlin-Zehlendorf, we are looking for you as Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date

What you can expect

Support the ward manager in the organizational management of the nursing team, including personnel planning, resource allocation and work processes
Participation in ensuring high quality of treatment by implementing current nursing and medical standards in the hematological and oncological setting
Developing and maintaining a positive team dynamic through transparent communication, regular consultations and individual support for employees
Collaboration with doctors, therapists and related specialist areas to ensure holistic patient care
Supporting further training and induction processes as well as mentoring to promote employees' professional skills
Ensuring comprehensible and complete nursing documentation in the hematological-oncological environment within the framework of applicable quality assurance measures

What you bring with you

Completed 3-year training as a nursing specialist, preferably with further training as a ward manager or experience in a managerial position
Relevant professional experience in the nursing field, desirable in the hematology and oncology area
Strong leadership skills, high sense of responsibility and willingness to adapt flexibly to new requirements and actively participate in digitization projects
Empathetic, clear communication skills paired with systematic work organization for efficient process design
Up-to-date specialist knowledge of nursing standards and legal requirements as well as a technical understanding of modern medical equipment and technologies
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
