Trainee Controlling & Finance (m/f/d) – Healthcare

Do you want to become a manager in the healthcare sector? Start your 2-year trainee program at Helios with a focus on controlling or accounting.

The special feature: In 3 to 4 assignments at different locations throughout Germany, you will work closely with management teams and colleagues from a wide range of departments. In this way, you will build a strong network and prepare yourself optimally for your future management role.

What to expect

Comprehensive observation: You will pass through all relevant areas of the hospital and work directly with the specialist departments.
Practical practical assignments: In assignments lasting several months, you will rotate through various clinics throughout Germany and work closely with the heads of controlling and accounting.
Operational financial tasks: You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements, business plans and participate in budget planning and financial analyses.
Further development of processes: You will actively support the optimisation of reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as asset accounting.
Project responsibility: You will manage cross-departmental projects with IT, purchasing or hospital management and present results to various committees.
Career-oriented practice: You will gain extensive management experience and prepare specifically for positions of responsibility in controlling or accounting.

What you bring to the table

A degree with a business orientation, ideally with a focus on controlling, finance or accounting
Fluent in German at C1 level (spoken and written).
Initial practical experience in controlling or finance, e.g. through internships or working student activities
High motivation and the willingness to develop quickly both professionally and personally
Strong communication skills, hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working together in a team
Enthusiasm, reliability and a structured way of working
Nationwide mobility and the willingness to work at several locations within 24 months
