Buyer - Public Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time with the option of working remotely as part of our FlexWork option

What to expect

Implementation and documentation of national and European procurement procedures in accordance with applicable public procurement law and funding requirements, including all subtasks
Keeping the award files and preparing award notes in preparation for award audits by, for example, the funding body
Support and advice to strategic purchasing in the planning, coordination and selection of permissible procurement procedures as well as the preparation of legally compliant procurement documents
Contact person for strategic purchasing in the respective categories (including operating technology, medical technology, IT) in matters of public procurement
Coordination with the specialist departments on the implementation of public procurement

What you bring to the table

Completed commercial or administrative vocational training and suitable professional experience, ideally in the field of public procurement or equivalent knowledge and skills
In-depth, ready-to-apply knowledge of German and European public procurement and competition law such as GWB, UVgO, VOB/A, VOL/B, VgV or the willingness to acquire them at short notice
Practical experience in the independent implementation of public procurement procedures
Experience with public procurement processes with subsidies and related documentation
Independent way of working with a strong customer orientation
Proof of measles immunization and willingness to make occasional business trips
