Strategic Buyer / Category Manager - Construction and Infrastructure as well as Technical Services (m/f/d)

full-time with the possibility of working remotely as part of our FlexWork option

• You will assume strategic responsibility for product groups in the field of operating technology, infrastructure as well as technical and clinic-specific services and will be responsible for the development and implementation of nationwide product group strategies for technical services, infrastructural services and clinic-related services
• You will develop award strategies, profitability analyses and decision-making bases as a basis for purchasing decisions in the corresponding product groups
• You will contribute your know-how to the development, optimisation and implementation of procurement strategies in your product groups, operating technology, disposal services, RUMED (equipment and services) as well as in construction and infrastructure projects
• You will analyze markets, operator models and service structures to identify efficiency and cost reduction potentials
• The planning and implementation of tendering and negotiation processes in coordination with the responsible departments as well as the implementation of independent conditions and contract negotiations at national level are also part of your area of responsibility, as well as the maintenance of existing supplier relationships and the establishment of strategic partnerships
• In addition, you will manage complex transformation and bundling projects, in particular for the consolidation of service providers and the economic development of existing service structures, and strive for the harmonization of service and contract structures across several hospital locations in order to exploit economies of scale and standardize service content
• In doing so, you will work closely with internal departments and other interfaces such as e.g. Hygiene and occupational safety together

• You have a degree in business, engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of experience in strategic purchasing or category management, ideally in the areas of operating technology, infrastructure, technical services, waste disposal or construction
• Your strategic and analytical thinking will help you to consider total costs and build sustainable supplier structures
• You have experience in supplier negotiations, contract management and the implementation of tender processes
• You have a confident appearance, assertiveness and the ability to work with internal departments and decision-makers and are willing to take occasional business trips
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as very good German and good English skills are required
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
