Specialist for the acquisition of the additional qualification in intensive care medicine (m/f/d).

What to expect

Medical care and care of patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit to acquire the additional qualification in intensive care medicine
Carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic measures or ordering them
Documentation of the diagnoses, the therapeutic measures ordered and the therapeutic measures carried out by the patient and the treatment results
Participation in the MET service of the house, staffing of the intensive care transfer vehicle and the NEF, co-staffing of the ECMO team after appropriate training
Participation in the qualified practical guidance of assistant doctors, medical students, interns

What you bring to the table

Specialist recognition
Additional qualification in emergency medicine is desirable
Willingness to complete additional training in intensive care medicine
Strong communication skills, empathy and a high level of patient orientation
Willingness to actively shape change processes
Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Clinic for Interdisciplinary Intensive Care Medicine is responsible for the medical care and care of all patients in the hospital who are subject to monitoring. More than 3000 patients from all specialist departments are cared for every year. The department also provides the medical response team for the entire clinic and staffs the hospital's intensive care transfer vehicle with its specialists, as well as an NEF. The ECMO team with its own vehicle is an integral part of the certified Cardiac arrest center. Modern treatment strategies including eCPR are part of the routine here. As a member of the ARDS network, we use all forms of modern respiratory medicine, as well as extracorporeal procedures. PESO and impedance measurement are just as much a part of the routine as all techniques of hemodynamic measurement.
