Training as a surgical assistant (m/f/d).

What to expect

Three-year training, which is divided into a school and practical part
An exciting and responsible training in the field of surgery
You will be involved in the organization and coordination of work processes in the operating room
Preparation, assistance and follow-up of surgical procedures
Handling of modern medical-technical equipment and instruments as well as ensuring hygiene and sterility standards in the operating room
Individual support from qualified practice instructors

What you bring to the table

Secondary school leaving certificate with completed two-year vocational training, an intermediate school leaving certificate or a (technical) Abitur
Ideally, an internship in the operating room
Knowledge of the German language at least at level B2 as well as legally required proof of immunization against measles
Interest in medicine and technical processes
Diligence, a sense of responsibility and the ability to concentrate as well as the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
Technical understanding and dexterity
