Training Surgical Technical Assistant / OTA (m/f/d)

We are looking for you as a full-time trainee as a full-time surgical assistant / OTA (m/f/d) for our cooperation partner the DRK-Schwesternschaft e.V. for 01.10.2026.

• Care of patients before, during and after surgical procedures
• Preparation of procedures: provision of medical equipment, instruments and medical devices
• Qualified assistance during the operation to ensure a smooth process
• Use as a "jumper" to procure additional medical devices and instruments during surgery
• Responsibility for compliance with hygiene regulations and patient safety

• You are open-minded, motivated and bring joy and interest in training in the healthcare sector
• You can imagine the work alternating between practical assignments with shift, weekend, holiday work and theoretical lessons for your future
• Minimum age of 18 years
• You have one of the following school leaving certificates: Abitur, Fachoberschulreife, mittlere Reife, Hauptschulabschluss or an equivalent school education in conjunction with a successfully completed vocational training of at least two years
• If the school-leaving certificate was not obtained in Germany, a certificate of equivalence must be submitted; Applicants from non-EU countries must provide proof of a valid work permit before starting their training
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
