What you can expect

As Head Physician, you will assume overall responsibility for the newly established pneumology department and play a key role in shaping its professional, organizational and strategic direction. Your tasks will include in particular
Establishment and development of the new Department of Pneumology,
Further development of a range of pneumology services within the overall internal medicine network
Specialist management in the inpatient and outpatient areas
Diagnostics & therapy of the pneumological spectrum, including: COPD, asthma, interstitial lung diseases, pneumonia, infectious diseases, respiratory and lung tumors, pleural diseases
Establishment and further development of bronchoscopic diagnostics and interventional procedures
Close collaboration with cardiology and gastroenterology (existing departments), radiology, intensive care and other partners
Further scientific development as well as quality and structural development, internal and external representation of the clinic

What you bring with you

You are a cooperative, integrative and motivating leader with a high level of professional competence. You will also have:
Specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine with a focus on pneumology,
Several years of senior medical or chief medical management experience
Innovative spirit and strategic thinking, organizational strength, flexibility and economic understanding, strong social and communication skills
Willingness to work closely across disciplines and sectors
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
