What to expect

Cost and Performance Accounting & Data Management: You will be responsible for the centrally controlled creation and continuous development of InEK-compliant cost unit accounting and cost and performance accounting for our hospitals. In doing so, you ensure high data quality through automated data preparation
Data validation & error procedures: You will develop global test rules for the systematic data validation of cost and performance accounting, coordinate the InEK error log and support the hospitals in the efficient implementation of necessary data corrections
Standard-setting & policy development: You will define and implement central standards, interfaces, guidelines and processes for cost and performance accounting and InEK calculation in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g. KHBV, DRG system). In this way, you ensure a uniform and practical implementation of the controlling work on site
Quality Controlling & Reporting: You will set up central dashboards and reports with meaningful key figures in order to transparently control data quality and derive targeted process improvements in the individual locations from this
Stakeholder communication & consulting: As a competent contact person, you will advise stakeholders at all hierarchical levels on cost and performance accounting and InEK-related issues. You will navigate complex interrelationships clearly, solution-oriented and ensure the transfer of knowledge between central and decentralized areas

What you bring to the table

You have a degree in business administration, health economics, business informatics or a comparable qualification
In addition, you have several years of professional experience in hospital controlling, especially in cost unit accounting according to InEK, and have in-depth knowledge of the InEK specifications, the DRG system and the KHBV principles
You are defined by an analytical mindset, a pronounced affinity for numbers and a high level of accuracy in dealing with performance and financial data
You work in a structured and independent manner and have high quality standards for your work
You have the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills and can communicate with different stakeholders on an equal footing
You are confident in using MS Excel and ideally have experience with HIS/calculation systems (e.g. ORBIS, SAP) and knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) as well as programming (e.g. Python)
