(Senior) Controller - Holding and Central Service Providers (m/f/d)

full-time with headquarters in Berlin and the option of mobile working as part of FlexWork

What to expect

As part of the Group Controlling organization, you will be responsible for our controlling for the holding company and central service providers and act as a "process guide" for compliance with governance, processes, standards and timelines
You will be responsible for reporting for our consolidation node "Headquarters", including consolidation, analysis and commenting on actual, forecast and planning data to ensure financial transparency
You will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the holding company, including various cost centers, in close coordination with our group-wide FP&A and Performance Controlling as well as Accounting team, and
You will support the management of strategic Group initiatives of the functions in our matrix organization, be actively involved in budget, forecast and medium-term planning and play a key role in the development and further development of central functional controlling (e.g. design of processes and formats such as budget, forecast, flash & runway)
You will also be responsible for carrying out variance analyses and ad-hoc evaluations to derive decision-relevant findings for top management and external partners, as well as the associated target-group-oriented preparation of financial information in presentation form
As the central contact person for our functional performance controllers and the group-wide FP&A team, you will manage business issues and lead exciting projects
In addition, in your role, you will develop and implement innovative, group-wide solutions and digitization projects to optimize commercial processes in close cooperation with our Data Analytics team

What you bring to the table

You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, health economics or a comparable course of study with a focus on controlling, finance or accounting
You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling - ideally in a group environment with in-depth know-how in financial consolidation and group accounting - and strong controlling methodological skills (planning/forecast, monthly/annual financial statements, saving measures)
With your strong analytical strength and your ability to prepare complex issues in a structured and decision-relevant way, you will be convincing
You have a quick grasp of changing issues, a good sense of priorities and an interest in varied, multi-layered issues with different stakeholders
An independent, structured way of working with high quality standards and preferably experience in conveying work content in an understandable way and providing colleagues (esp. Juniors)
You have very good knowledge of MS Office (esp. Excel and PowerPoint), experience in dealing with ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP BW, SAC)
Very good written and spoken German and English skills and confident communication with stakeholders at senior level round off your profile
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
