(Senior) Controller - Functional Performance Controlling (m/f/d)

full-time with headquarters in Berlin and the option of mobile working as part of FlexWork

• As part of the Group Controlling organization, you will be responsible for functional performance controlling for selected functions and act primarily as a "challenger" of performance and (saving) measures as well as a "process guide" for compliance with governance, processes, standards and timelines
• Within our matrix organization, you will be the direct contact person in Group Controlling for the functions assigned to you and control the methodical design of the controlling process flows, e.g. budget, forecast, flash and runway calls, in close coordination with the respective functional management
• You will challenge and optimize financial results, assumptions, business cases, management reports, planned (saving) measures and validate compliance with saving goals in close coordination with the corporate controlling program
• You will challenge the financial evaluation of major project ideas (e.g. OpEx, CapEx, activation) and investment applications, work closely with the commercial support of the functions and investment controlling, and thus contribute to a reliable decision-making basis for our management at Helios and Fresenius
• You will be responsible for the preparation of cost analyses and KPIs and contribute your know-how to the analysis and optimisation of Group-wide material cost dashboards - ensuring the consistency of financial results and measures across all levels in the Group (functions as well as hospitals and medical care centres)
• You will prepare financial information in presentation form for different target groups – e.g. Helios Management, Steering/Investment Committee, Fresenius function. You will support the development and further development of central functional controlling, help shape processes and formats (e.g. budget, forecast, flash & runway) and actively participate in the further development of KPIs, control logics, standards and controlling processes as well as digitization and automation initiatives

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, health economics or a comparable course of study with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in functional cost controlling or group or business unit controlling of a complex company
• You have a very strong controlling methodological competence (KPI management, planning/forecast, monthly/annual financial statements, business cases, saving measures)
• You are characterized by your pronounced analytical strength and your ability to prepare complex issues in a structured and decision-relevant way
• You have a quick grasp of changing issues, a good sense of priorities and an interest in varied, multi-layered issues with different stakeholders
• An independent, structured way of working, high quality standards and preferably experience in communicating work content in an understandable way and providing colleagues (esp. Juniors)
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel as well as experience with SAP & BI tools (e.g. Power BI) are requiredVery good written and spoken German and English skills and confident communication with stakeholders at senior level round off your profile
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
