We are looking for a specialist in palliative medicine (m/f/d) at the Helios Clinic in Pirna with immediate effect.

• Holistic care of palliative patients and their relatives: Comprehensive care – physical, mental, social – in close support.
• Cooperative cooperation with all departments of the hospital and physicians in private practice: Closely interlinked coordination within the team and with external colleagues for optimal care.
• Collegial cooperation in our multi-professional team: Appreciative exchange at eye level between nurses, doctors, therapy and other disciplines.

• Specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine, anaesthesiology or other completed specialist training: Recognised specialist training in an area of direct patient care.
• German language level – technical language C1 (CEFR): Proof required in order to carry out medical anamnesis, diagnoses and documentation in technical language with confidence – mandatory for licence to practise medicine and clinical practice.
• Committed team- and patient-oriented hospital work: Motivation to actively participate in everyday hospital life as well as empathetic patient care - during the day and during on-call times.
• High level of professional expertise & strong social skills: In-depth medical knowledge combined with empathy and communication skills.
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation: Enthusiasm for close cooperation with colleagues from nursing, therapy, pastoral care and external departments.
• Sense of responsibility and organizational talent: Independent planning, precise work and structured management of treatment processes – including measles immunization required by law.

Our palliative care ward has 6 patient rooms with 9 beds, which can also be occupied as single rooms. The ward is designed to be friendly with an additional lounge (living room) for our patients. Relatives have the option of staying overnight in the patient's room. Our friendly, multi-professional team consists of qualified nurses, various specialist therapists, doctors, pastoral care, psycho-oncologists and other volunteers. The focus of our work is on the patients, whom we care for and accompany together in an interdisciplinary and holistic way. The patient's will guides our therapy decisions.
