For our neonatology department at the Helios Clinic Berlin-Buch (Level I), we are looking for a committed personality with a heart as a parental leave replacement from 01.02.2026 , who brings expertise, team spirit and joy in modern, family-oriented medicine. With us, you can contribute your expertise as a neonatologist - or acquire the focus on neonatology in an experienced team.

What to expect

Specialist care and care of premature and newborn babies in the Perinatal Centre Level I (births: 2700-3000/year, FG <1500g: 50-70/year, FG <1250g: 30-40/year)
Participation in the neonatal intensive care unit, as well as collaboration in post-IC/HC and family wards or rooming-in units
Close cooperation with paediatric surgery, neurosurgery and other specialist areas for comprehensive interdisciplinary care
Support and advice for parents — e.g. breastfeeding management, parent-child closeness and family-oriented care
Supervision and guidance of assistant doctors, as well as participation in training and further education
Participation in on-call, on-call and emergency services to ensure 24/7 care

What you bring to the table

Completed specialist qualification (m/f/d) in paediatrics and adolescent medicine (or equivalent) — with an interest in, or ideally started or completed, further training in neonatology
Empathy, ability to work in a team and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
Strong communication skills and an appreciative approach to families and colleagues
Measles immunity certificate (required by law)
