The Helios Klinikum Bad Saarow near Berlin is looking for several volunteers (m/f/d) for a usually 12-month assignment in the - start on the first day of the month - BUFDI – Federal Volunteer Service (m/f/d)

What to expect

You will be employed in ward service, patient support service and/or in our in-house daycare center "Filius"
On the wards, you will support the staff in caring for patients, bedding patients and mobilizing
You will help with serving meals and transporting patients to diagnostics and therapy
In our "Filius" daycare center, you will support the team of educators in their daily tasks around the care of the daycare center children

What you bring to the table

You are at least 16 years old and would like to get a taste of practical work after school, are you in the waiting semester for a place at university or are looking for a reorientation (unlike the FSJ, there is no upper age limit for the BUFDI)
You have an interest in and skill in dealing with sick people and people in need of help
Willingness to participate in pedagogical accompanying and further training seminars
Good health condition
Commitment, willingness to learn, openness and sociability
Empathy and helpfulness as well as legally required proof of measles immunization

A comprehensive insight into working life in the field of health care / education for a period of 12 months, an extension of up to six months is possible in principle
A well-founded induction into the area of work selected together with you
Guidance and support from experienced mentors as well as teamwork in an open and trusting atmosphere
The weekly working time is 38.5 hours (full-time) + breaks, part-time is possible (min. 20.5 hours)
Granting of statutory leave entitlement during the 12-month period of employment
