Would you like to get involved in social work and gain valuable experience in the healthcare sector? Then become part of our team in the Federal Voluntary Service in Nursing at the Helios Park-Klinikum Leipzig.

What to expect

They accompany patients to examinations and ensure smooth support in everyday hospital life.
They assist with personal hygiene and support therapeutic measures.
They take on general housekeeping tasks as well as smaller errands on the ward.
They are completing an exciting year of education and orientation.
You will gain a comprehensive insight into the hospital world, discover many exciting professional fields and support the nursing team in their first nursing activities on the wards and in the outpatient clinic.

What you bring to the table

They have an appreciative attitude towards patients and colleagues.
You are sociable, a team player and open to new situations.
You have completed compulsory schooling, ideally you have a lower secondary school leaving certificate, the intermediate school leaving certificate, technical college entrance qualification or the Abitur.
They are willing to work in shifts as well as on weekends and holidays.
You show commitment and motivation to actively participate in the team.
Legally required proof of immunization against measles.

You can look forward to

You will receive an individually adaptable deployment period, which usually begins on September 1 and can be determined by arrangement.
You have the option of making the duration of your BFD flexible, between 6 and 18 months.
You will be integrated into a permanent team in which you can gain valuable experience.
You benefit from a structured induction as well as permanent support during your assignment.
You have access to interesting assignments, such as in the IMC or intensive care units, our outpatient clinics or on a nursing ward.
You will take part in educational days that support your personal and professional development and you will receive pocket money.
