For the polyclinic at Helios Klinikum Buch, we are looking for a laboratory expert in the field of human genetics.

• Sequencing methods: Independent execution of PCR and DNA sequencing (e.g. NGS, Sanger method)
• Cytogenetics: Implementation of (molecular) cytogenetic test methods
• Data evaluation: Professional analysis and evaluation of the collected laboratory data
• Variant Interpretation: Interpretation and Evaluation of Genetic Variants in a Clinical Context
• Preparation of findings: Preparation of quality-assured draft findings and careful documentation
• Laboratory organization: Participation in organizational processes and quality management

• Degree: Degree in biology or a comparable life science
• DNA analysis: experience in D-preparation and sequencing
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
• Cell culture and karyotyping: Knowledge of cell culture technology and the creation of karyograms
• Variant Evaluation: Experience with the Digital Interpretation of Genetic Variants
• Additional qualifications: Knowledge of quality management as well as previous experience in human genetics and molecular pathology are desirable
