Head - Outpatient Billing / KV Area (m/f/d)

full-time as part of FlexWork with headquarters in Berlin or alternatively at one of our clinic locations.

In your role as Head of Outpatient Billing in the KV area for Helios Kliniken, you will take on a central link function between operational and strategic issues in the respective region.

• You will take over the technical management of the respective billing pools in the outpatient health insurance environment - for the region South / East or North / West
• You will identify optimization potential in our processes, drive their implementation and sustainable implementation, and ensure high billing quality across the board
• You will proactively contribute ideas and sparring for process improvements with specialist contacts and the division management
• The escalation of disruptive factors (e.g. insufficient documentation) to relevant interfaces such as MedCo, financial accounting or patient admission is also part of your area of responsibility
• In defined special cases, you will contribute your know-how to work in billing activities
• You will support the definition, further development and implementation of standards and SOPs
• You will also drive the development and implementation of structured induction concepts for employees

• Successfully completed training as a healthcare clerk, medical assistant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification and several years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, ideally in a hospital organization
• In-depth expertise in outpatient billing in the health insurance sector and relevant legislation
• Leadership skills and experience in managing teams
• High level of initiative in the development and implementation of new measures and process improvements
• Fast, structured and targeted action in response to operational challenges
• Strong organizational skills as well as prioritization skills from a business perspective (e.g. cash flow optimization)
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and develop employees professionally
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
