• Nursing Nutrition Assessment: Early detection of malnutrition directly at the patient's bedside (e.g. using NRS 2002)
• Hands-on patient support: Practical support and monitoring in the application of enteral (tube) and parenteral (infusion) nutrition
• Relationship work & training: Individual guidance of patients and relatives in the use of nutritional technology (e.g. pump operation, dressing change in the case of PEG) in preparation for the home situation
• On-site team support: Active presence on the wards to support nursing staff directly in the implementation of nutritional concepts and to clarify technical questions immediately
• Documentation: Complete recording of nutritional histories and calorie balances in the patient file
• Discharge management: Coordination of the supply of aids (food, pumps) with homecare providers in close consultation with our patients

• State recognition as a nursing specialist with additional qualification in the field of nutrition (e.g. DGEM certificate, specialist for nutritional therapy or comparable)
• Empathetic, appreciative interaction with our patients, relatives and employees as well as strong organizational talent, a high sense of responsibility and open-mindedness
• Willingness to cooperate in conceptual tasks and cooperative cooperation with all professional groups
• Open-mindedness to new nursing findings and developments
• Willingness to participate in shift, weekend and on-call work
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
