Senior Manager Market Access Biosimilars (m/f/d)

Introduction

You will shape the successful market access of our biosimilars. In this role, you will shape the pricing, contracting and tendering strategy for new products and ensure sustainable competitiveness in the German healthcare market. Together with internal and external partners, you will steer the course for our success.

These are your tasks:

• Preparation of all market access activities for launches including conclusion of discount contracts (GKV/PKV) and management of the contract portfolio.
• Negotiating prices, conditions and contract details with payers.
• Evaluate reimbursement law aspects (including social law) and coordinate with Legal & Compliance.
• Observe, analyse and communicate health policy developments; integrate insights into strategy and day-to-day business.
• Plan, control, and monitor launch and lifecycle activities across functions.
• Analysing market and cash register data (e.g. IQVIA) to identify opportunities and risks; derive measures & business reviews.
• Accompany and finalize tenders of the cost bearers.
• Ensure compliance including SOP compliance, HCP/HCO guidelines and LCO releases.
• Report KPIs, trends, tenders and contract statuses to the management team.
• Establish and maintain a resilient stakeholder network of health insurance companies, health insurance companies, associations, institutions and key opinion leaders.

• Successfully completed studies in health economics, pharmacy, economics or comparable.
• At least 6 years of experience in market access (ideally: biosimilars/pharmaceuticals).
• Proven experience in contract and price negotiations with payers.
• Sound knowledge of reimbursement, social law and health economic framework conditions.
• Strong analytical competence and confident handling of market data.
• Strong communication, negotiation and networking skills.
• High level of implementation competence, independence and sense of responsibility.
• Confident handling of complex stakeholder structures.
• Proactive way of working and enjoyment of political-strategic issues.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
