For our Clinic for Cardiac and Cardiac Vascular Surgery at the Krefeld site, we are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant (m/f/d) as soon as possible

• Preoperative admission and patient information
• Care of patients as part of treatment care, e.g. insertion of flexules, blood sampling, removal of drains and pacemaker wires
• Monitoring of medically initiated therapies
• Postoperative transfer planning
• Documentation of Quality Assurance (EQS)
• Preparation of discharge letters ready for signature in cooperation with the medical staff
• Central information function for inquiries from referring physicians, physicians providing further treatment, health insurance companies and rehabilitation clinics

• Completed training as a medical assistant (MFA) (m/f/d)
• Completed training as a Physician Assistant (PA) desirable (m/f/d)
• Patient-oriented thinking, independent and reliable way of working
• Good communication skills in dealing with patients and in a team
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Reliable working hours from 07:30 a.m. to 04:00 p.m., no late, night or weekend shifts
• Possibility of rotation on our IMC station, operating room and echo laboratory

The Clinic for Cardiac Surgery offers all modern cardiac surgical procedures except heart transplants and pediatric heart surgery. The clinic has 2 operating theatres, a hybrid operating theatre as part of the joint heart centre as well as a spatially directly connected cardiac surgical intensive care unit and an IMC ward. The care of patients with structural heart diseases is interdisciplinary with the Department of Cardiology. The joint heart center is located in an interdisciplinary manner in the beautiful and functionally excellent new building of the entire hospital.
