What to expect

You will work closely with the chief physician and have responsibility in the management team of the Department of General and Visceral Surgery and take part in the surgical on-call service in the Mansfeld-Südharz cluster
Interdisciplinary cooperation with medical colleagues, other professional groups and physicians in private practice with the aim of ensuring the best possible patient well-being
With enthusiasm and personal responsibility, you dedicate yourself to the holistic care of our patients
With your own ideas, you will help shape the further development of the department and promote our young talent through the guidance and supervision of assistant doctors (m/f/d)
Training in robotic surgery (da Vinci)
Possibility of sub-specialization (special visceral surgery, proctology, clinical emergency medicine)

What you bring to the table

You have completed specialist training in the field of general and visceral surgery (m/f/d) and already have profound experience
You will be able to perform emergency visceral surgical procedures independently
You have mastered the necessary diagnostic techniques and treatment principles in your field
Business thinking and acting are a matter of course for you
Strong social skills in dealing with other professional groups, patients and relatives as well as commitment and a prudent and independent way of working round off your profile
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
