To strengthen our team at Helios Weißeritztal-Kliniken GmbH at the Freital site, we are looking for you as a nurse (m/f/d) for the trauma surgery/orthopaedics ward.

• Care and nursing of trauma surgery/orthopaedic patients: comprehensive care from the time of admission to discharge
• Preparation and follow-up of diagnostic and interventional measures: including storage, monitoring and material organization
• Surgical preparation and follow-up of our patients: surgical wound care, monitoring of drains and vital parameters, pain management
• Close cooperation: interdisciplinary cooperation with the surgical team, physiotherapy, doctors and social services for holistic patient care

• State professional licence as a nurse or equivalent: degree plus state examination or equivalent recognition
• High level of professional and social competence as well as nursing competence: safe execution of nursing and medical-assistive activities – including care planning, documentation, wound care, vital monitoring, prophylaxis and communication
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, cross-departmental manner: interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, physiotherapy, social services, etc. for holistic patient care
• Mental and physical resilience: health suitability for shift work, dealing with stressful situations as well as robust physical and mental constitution
• Willingness to undergo further training and qualifications: Openness to lifelong learning through further education and training
