To strengthen our team at Helios Weißeritztal-Kliniken GmbH in Freital, we are looking for you as a nurse (m/f/d) for the trauma surgery/orthopaedics ward with immediate effect.

• Care & nursing of trauma surgery/orthopaedic patients: comprehensive care from admission to discharge
• Preparation & follow-up of diagnostic and interventional measures: including positioning, monitoring and material organization
• Operative preparation & follow-up of our patients: Surgical wound care, monitoring of drains and vital parameters, pain management
• Close collaboration: interdisciplinary cooperation with the surgical team, physiotherapy, doctors and social services for holistic patient care

• State professional license as a healthcare and nursing professional or equivalent: degree plus state examination or equivalent recognition
• High professional & social competence as well as nursing competence: safe execution of nursing and medical-assistant activities - including care planning, documentation, wound care, vital signs monitoring, prophylaxis and communication
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, cross-departmental manner: interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, physiotherapy, social services, etc. for holistic patient care
• Mental & physical resilience: health suitability for shift work, dealing with stressful situations and robust physical and mental constitution
• Willingness for further training & qualifications: openness to lifelong learning through further training and education
