We are looking for a Geriatric Nurse – Admission & Replacement (m/f/d) for our clinic in Pirna with immediate effect

• Holistic support for our patients from admission to discharge
• Independent execution of daily blood samples on the ward
• Active participation in interdisciplinary team meetings (2× weekly)
• Support of the nursing team with structured and digital documentation
• Advising patients and relatives on social law issues and care options
• Organization and coordination of professional discharge management including rehabilitation, short-term care and nursing home planning

• Completed training with a state professional license as a nurse, MFA (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, professional experience or sound knowledge in the field of geriatrics
• Good knowledge of social security and long-term care insurance law is an advantage
• Organizational skills and enjoyment of working with external partners (e.g. nursing services, cost bearers)
• Strong empathy, communication skills and patience in dealing with geriatric patients and their relatives as well as an independent, structured and interdisciplinary way of working
• Proof of legally required measles immunization
