We operate a house of upscale basic care in Saxony-Anhalt and are an academic teaching hospital of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. In the fields of internal medicine (cardiology and gastroenterology), general and visceral and vascular surgery, trauma and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology/obstetrics, anaesthesiology/intensive care medicine and urology, approx. 11,000 inpatients and approx. 13,000 outpatients are treated annually.

From 2020, generalist nursing will be the further developed nursing training and will replace the training in health and (paediatric) nursing.

From now on, it is possible to apply for the training on 01.09.2026 as a

Nurse (f/m/d)

What to expect

Learned knowledge from theory such as:
basic and treatment care, nursing theories,
Computer-aided patient management
Participation in the 3-shift system, weekend and holiday work.

What you bring to the table

In order to start training as a nursing specialist (m/f/d), you will need either:
Abitur / Fachhochschulreife,
Secondary school leaving certificate
Secondary school leaving certificate together with: a) a successfully completed two-year vocational training b) a successfully completed vocational training as a nursing assistant,
health suitability for the profession,
Knowledge of the German language with certificate B2 - corresponds to the fourth level on the six-level competence scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). (For more information, see https://www.goethe.de/de/spr/kup/prf/prf.html ),
You are a team player, work carefully, have very good communication skills and are psychologically and emotionally stable, act responsibly and independently to accompany people in difficult life situations.
We would like to expressly recommend that you complete a two-week nursing internship.
