Specialist in Pediatrics (m/f/d)

in our children's clinic of the Helios Hanseklinikum Stralsund on the coast.

• Treatment of our pediatric patients, from admission to diagnostics to discharge management
• Educating patients and their families about disease patterns and treatment options
• Ensuring high medical standards and quality of patient care in the field of pediatric and adolescent medicine
• Supervision and support of assistant physicians together with the chief physician in conjunction
• You will work together with other departments on an interdisciplinary basis
• Takeover of coding activities

• You are a specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine (m/f/d) (with German licence to practise medicine) and have sound clinical experience in the field of paediatrics, ideally basic knowledge of neuropaediatrics
• You recognize business relationships and have a high degree of responsibility, and you can take on an active leadership role
• They are characterized above all by a high level of social competence, a motivating personality and joy in dealing with our young patients
• You are willing to take on background and foreground services.
• You have experience in EEG and sleep laboratory evaluation
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The children's clinic operates 28 beds, of which 6 are IMC and 2 are pediatric surgical beds. All operational children from the other departments are also cared for in the children's ward. We currently treat 1400 inpatients, about 500 pre-inpatient cases and 3000 emergency outpatient clinics per year. In our perinatal center, premature babies are cared for from the 32nd week of pregnancy, and obstetrics has about 900 births a year. There is a pediatric cardiology consultation.
