At the Helios Clinic Duisburg, we offer you a position as soon as possible and on a full-time or part-time basis as a nurse/health and nursing assistant (m/f/d) for psychiatry, psychotherapy and gerontopsychiatry.

What to expect

Professional, activating care and support for patients in acute mental crises
Participation in crisis interventions taking into account de-escalating methods
Implementation and monitoring of protective measures within the framework of legal and ethical requirements
Active participation in the therapeutic environment (structure, daily rhythm and stabilizing offers)
Close cooperation with doctors, therapists and other professional groups
Participation in team meetings, case discussions and supervision
Counselling and guidance for relatives in crisis situations
Deployment in a three-shift system and assumption of on-call duties

What you bring to the table

Completed training as a registered nurse / nurse (m/f/d)
Interest in psychiatric care and work in a sheltered acute care unit
Sense of responsibility, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Safe, respectful interaction with patients and relatives
Willingness to undergo further education and training, e.g. in the area of de-escalation
Basic IT skills
Legally required proof of measles vaccination
