Start a three-year apprenticeship at Helios Klinikum Schwelm as a surgical assistant (m/f/d) on August 1, 2026.

• You will learn to prepare, follow-up, actively assist and instrument operations with a high level of technical expertise
• You will care for patients throughout the entire perioperative process
• You will work in a modern, technically demanding environment and in an interdisciplinary team
• You will receive intensive support from experienced practical instructors and comprehensive training in all relevant areas of the profession

• At least a technical college entrance qualification or a lower secondary school leaving certificate plus two years of vocational training
• Alternatively: one-year nursing assistant training plus one year of professional experience
• An internship in the hospital that has already been completed would be desirable, but is not a prerequisite
• Health suitability and a good command of the German language (B2 or higher)
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Dual three-year full-time training in cooperation with the OTA school BAVO Hagen
• 2,100 hours of theoretical training and 2,500 hours of practical training
• Structured practical instructions
• Training allowance according to TV Helios trainee (approx. 1,549 euros in the 1st year, 1,600 euros in the 2nd year and 1,817 euros in the 3rd year)
• Subsidy for the Deutschlandticket
