MSH Medical School Hamburg – University of Applied Sciences and Medical University and Helios Kliniken Schwerin are looking for a full-time doctor in advanced training (m/f/d) in internal medicine/cardiology to strengthen the team at the university campus in Schwerin as soon as possible.

What to expect

As a physician in further training (m/f/d), you will represent your focus in teaching independently in cooperation with the corresponding specialist representatives/professors of the clinical phase of study in human medicine.
You will design your teaching in the form of seminars, internships and bedside lessons.
Comprehensive teaching materials and our MedTeach teaching station with excellently equipped skill labs are available to you.
They take the exams together as a team and participate in the further development of the curriculum.
A structured continuing education curriculum with full authorization for further training as a specialist in internal medicine/cardiology enables you to undergo comprehensive further training with employment for the entire duration of your specialist training.
If you would like to do a doctorate, acquire an additional professional qualification or further education in higher education didactics up to a master's degree in Medical and Health Education, we expressly support this.

What you bring to the table

You have a degree in human medicine and have a licence to practise medicine.
Ideally, you already have teaching experience or very good didactic skills.
You appear self-confident, competent and sympathetic towards students and patients.
In addition to your professional skills, you have proven communication skills and strong social skills.

The six internal medicine clinics include general internal medicine (endocrinology/diabetology), gastroenterology and infectiology, haematology, cardiology, nephrology and pneumology. The Department of Cardiology offers a wide range of cardiovascular medicine and, with well over 7,000 patients a year, is one of the largest cardiology clinics in Germany.
