MSH Medical School Hamburg – University Applied Sciences and Medical University and Helios Kliniken Schwerin are looking for a full-time neurology specialist to strengthen the team on the university campus in Schwerin as soon as possible.

What you bring to the table

You are a specialist (m/f/d) in neurology or you are a doctor (m/f/d) and interested in further training in neurology.
Ideally, you have experience in stroke therapy.
You are interested in a well-founded further education in our department with a broad medical spectrum.
They have professional competence, high communication skills and strong social skills in dealing with patients, colleagues and students.
They have creative ideas and commitment to the further development of patient care.
They can present the legally required proof of immunization against measles.

The MSH Medical School Hamburg – University of Applied Sciences and Medical University is a private, state-recognized university based in Hamburg's HafenCity. For more than 15 years, it has been successfully implementing an interdisciplinary and interprofessional university concept in the training of health professionals at four faculties.

The strategic cooperation with a strong partner – the Helios Group – is an essential pillar in the training of our medical students. The University Faculty of Medicine gives young, motivated people the opportunity to successfully study human medicine even without NC.

Our cooperation partners in the clinical study phase of medical training are the Helios Clinics Schwerin, maximum care provider and university campus of MSH, which cover all specialist areas of modern medicine with over 1,500 beds. In the interest of optimal patient care, 35 clinics and institutes led by chief physicians, several functional departments, outpatient clinics and day clinics are networked with each other.

In the Department of Neurology , all diseases that take place in the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and/or muscles are examined and treated. The specialist areas of neurology at Helios Kliniken Schwerin are strokes, movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, pain therapy and brain tumours. The Stroke Unit is certified as a supra-regional stroke unit with thrombectomy option (24/7) and the neurological clinic is also certified as a neuro-oncological center and is a regional center in the Parkinson's Competence Network.
