At the earliest possible date, we are looking for exactly you as Team Leader (m/f/d) Coding in Medical Controlling - across three locations in the North region

What you can expect

As team leader (technical and organizational) for the coding specialists in medical controlling, you will play a central role in the quality and efficiency of coding at our three clinic locations (Helios Kliniken Schwerin, Helios Hanseklinikum Stralsund and Helios Klinik Leezen)
Ensuring uniform and quality-assured coding of diagnoses and procedures (ICD-10-GM and OPS) in the coding teams in close cooperation with the specialist medical departments
Further development and optimization of documentation processes together with the teams and in cooperation with the hospital sites
Analyzing coding anomalies and deriving measures for quality assurance as well as contact person for complex coding issues for team members
Assisting with training and advice for medical and nursing staff on coding and documentation as well as coordinating and working on cross-site projects in medical controlling
Supporting the further development of the digital coding processes and system landscape

What you bring with you

Completed studies in medicine, nursing or business administration with a focus on healthcare or completed training in healthcare (e.g. as a medical assistant, healthcare and nursing assistant) and further training as a coding specialist
Several years of professional experience in coding and medical controlling, ideally in a managerial role
Sound knowledge of the German Coding Guidelines (DKR), the DRG system and the current MD guidelines
Experience in working with hospital information systems, ideally i.s.h.med and medico, as well as MS Office
Leadership skills, a structured, solution-oriented way of working and strong team and communication skills
Willingness to collaborate across locations and occasionally travel
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
