What to expect

They accompany patients with long-term ventilation or tracheostomy on their way back to self-breathing - step by step, safely and empathetically.
You will actively and individually shape nursing care, work closely with respiratory therapy and medicine, and contribute your expertise to an interdisciplinary team.
They specifically promote patient independence, detect clinical changes at an early stage and document them professionally.
You will be responsible for the implementation of weaning concepts, secretion management and professional tracheostomy care.
You start with a supervised induction, clear learning goals and a personal mentor who prepares you for everyday life on the ward.
Their work makes the difference: they give people the chance to breathe on their own again – with expertise, patience and heart.

What you bring to the table

You have completed training as a registered nurse - e.g. as a nurse, intensive care nurse, geriatric nurse or specialist for out-of-hospital ventilation.
Experience in clinical or out-of-hospital respiratory care is desirable, but not a must – we will accompany you during the induction process.
The ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility and empathy characterize your dealings with patients and relatives.
You keep track of things even in challenging situations and act confidently.
Interest in professional and personal development – we support you with targeted further education and training.
