At Helios Klinikum Duisburg, we offer you a full-time or part-time position as a specialist for additional training in clinical acute and emergency medicine (m/f/d).

What to expect

Medical diagnostics, advice and treatment of our outpatients and inpatients
An interprofessional team of chief physician, senior physicians, specialists, rotation assistants in further training, nursing and Physican Assistants (m/f/d) in an interdisciplinary emergency room with a flat hierarchy
As a specialist (m/f/d) in further training for the additional qualification in clinical acute and emergency medicine, you will go through a 24-month curriculum that is geared to the requirements of clinical emergency medicine

What you bring to the table

A completed medical degree / license to practice medicine (m/f/d).
A specialist recognition in an area of direct patient care (e.g. anaesthesia, internal medicine, surgery, etc.). We also look forward to hearing from you if your specialist recognition has not yet been completed but is foreseeable and you are subsequently aiming for the additional qualification in Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine
Your heart beats for emergency medicine and you are motivated to specialize in this field
A collegial working style and strong communication skills
Patient-oriented way of working as well as independent, interdisciplinary thinking and acting
The willingness to participate in structured training courses inside and outside the clinic. This includes weekly skill training in our emergency room as well as regular participation in simulation training in our neighboring Group-owned academy (SiNA Krefeld)
