We are looking for you for a dual study program in midwifery sciences as of October 1, 2026.

What to expect

The new degree programme combines vocational training with university studies
The students receive a job-related and cross-professional qualification with which they support the mothers and their partners through accompaniment, support, advice and guidance
The interdisciplinary structure takes into account both the core competencies of midwifery and a variety of preventive and health-promoting topics
Midwifery and health science findings are part of the training
An instructive cooperation with the University of Rostock or the University of Lübeck

What you bring to the table

Health suitability
General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (subject-specific Abitur)
Prospective students without a high school diploma have the opportunity to take an admission exam, please enclose the passed exam with your application
An internship of at least four weeks in a relevant field of activity of a midwife (e.g. delivery room, maternity ward, freelance midwife), the internship can be carried out in one go or in sections, but 4 x 38.5 hours must be proven
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
