To strengthen our team in the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery at the Leipzig Heart Center, we are looking for a committed personality as a ward physician (m/f/d) Intensive and Intermediate Care as soon as possible - full-time or part-time

You can look forward to a responsible task in a highly specialized environment with plenty of room for professional development.

• They care for patients in the intensive care and intermediate care units after complex cardiac surgery, including re-operations, aortic surgery, and heart and lung transplants.
• They use state-of-the-art intensive care procedures, especially ventilation and organ support systems.
• You will work in an interdisciplinary manner with colleagues from medical, nursing and therapeutic teams.
• You will take part in rounds, case discussions and in-house training courses and actively contribute your knowledge.
• You have the opportunity to undergo additional training in internal medicine, anesthesiology and cardiac surgery.
• You will help shape the further development of our clinical processes and, if you are interested, you can get involved in teaching or scientific projects.

• You are a specialist in cardiac surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia or surgery – ideally with experience or a special interest in intensive medical care.
• You are enthusiastic about innovative developments in intensive care and monitoring medicine and would like to play an active role in shaping them.
• They always act in a patient-oriented manner, have empathy and appreciate the work in an interdisciplinary team.
• You act confidently, collegially and responsibly – even in challenging situations.
• They have the legally required proof of immunity against measles.
