On 01.09. of each year , we are looking for an apprentice as an anesthesia technical assistant (m/f/d) – ATA.

• The training is carried out in accordance with the nationwide ATA-OTA Act in the current version and the associated Training and Examination Ordinance
• At least 2,100 hours of instruction at the Helios Training Center Plauen and at least 2,500 hours of practical training under expert guidance in mandatory and optional areas of assignment in the respective hospitals
• Introduction of patients to the operating room and monitoring and observation of patients during and after surgery
• Safe handling of technical equipment and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Responsible use of medication and documentation

• School leaving certificate: Secondary school leaving certificate or lower secondary school leaving certificate with two years of vocational training or professional license as a nursing assistant as well as medical proof of health suitability
• Good academic performance, especially in science subjects
• Parental consent for applicants under the age of 18
• Desirable: Internship in the operating theatre or on a surgical ward
• Medical-technical understanding as well as physical and mental resilience
• ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility as well as order and cleanliness; Legally required measles vaccination certificate

• Three-year, varied training starting on 01.09.
• 38.5-hour week as maximum working hours
• Degree: written, oral and practical examination for anaesthesia technical assistant (ATA-DKG)
• Attractive training remuneration: 1st year 1,548.90 €, 2nd year 1,600.65 €, 3rd year 1,817.08 €
