To strengthen our motivated and dynamic team at the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery at the Leipzig Heart Center, we are looking for you to start as soon as possible on a full-time / part-time basis as a

Ward physician intensive and intermediate care unit (m/f/d)

• Our range of services includes the postoperative care of all adult cardiac surgery procedures, including highly complex aortic operations, re-operations and heart and lung transplants
• We have access to all intensive medical therapy procedures for ventilation and organ support - in particular all common cardiac support systems
• You have the opportunity for additional training in internal medicine, anesthesiology and (cardiac) surgical intensive care medicine
• You will work closely and interdisciplinary with the medical and nursing team
• You can expect a responsible position with extensive creative potential in a pleasant working environment

• You have completed specialist training in cardiac surgery, internal medicine, anesthesia or surgery with experience in intensive care medicine
• You have a particular interest in new developments in the field of intensive care medicine
• Your strengths include patient orientation, empathy and you enjoy working with people
• You are characterized by a confident and collegial manner
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
