Medical Coding Specialist (m/f/d)

• Plausibility check and supplementary coding of diagnoses, procedures including all DRG-relevant facts on the basis of the medical records
• Billing approval for correct and timely DRG billing of inpatient treatment cases, as well as coding
• Processing of MD test cases starting from the time the documents are sent
• In-case coding and support for all professional groups involved in coding
• Plausibility check as part of external quality assurance
• Review and processing of DTA requests

• A completed training as a nurse (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification, ideally supplemented by clinical professional experience
• Sound knowledge of ICD and OPS encryption, the German coding guidelines and billing regulations according to the Case-Flat Rate Ordinance
• Good teamwork and communication skills as well as organizational skills and flexibility
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
