We are looking for a

Chief Physician for Neurosurgery (m/f/d)

full-time

Establishment, management and further development of a spinal surgery focus with a neurosurgical orientation

Professional, organizational and strategic responsibility for the field of spinal surgery

Surgical treatment of the entire spinal surgical spectrum, in particular:

1. Degenerative diseases of the spine
2. Traumatic spinal injuries
3. Minimally invasive procedures
4. Vertebral body fractures incl. kyphoplasties and vertebroplasties

Close interdisciplinary cooperation with trauma surgery/orthopaedics, neurology, radiology, anaesthesia and intensive care medicine

Participation in neurosurgical emergency care within the framework of the clinic structures

Establishment, management and further development of a specialized medical team

Establishment of treatment standards, quality assurance and process optimization

Representation of the focus to referring physicians and regional cooperation partners

• Specialist (m/f/d) in Neurosurgery
• Proven surgical expertise in spinal surgery
• Several years of management experience in a leading position (e.g. senior physician or chief physician)
• Structured, economically minded and assertive leader
• High team and communication skills as well as enjoyment of building new structures
• Strong sense of responsibility and strategic thinking
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Establishment and management of a neurosurgically guided spinal surgery focus
• Great medical and structural design freedom
• Modern surgical and diagnostic infrastructure
• Close support from the clinic management and short decision-making processes
