As soon as possible, we are looking for you as a Strategic Medical Controlling Officer (DRG Analyst) (m/f/d) at the Leipzig location as part of a full-time or part-time job.

What to expect

Analysis and interpretation of medical service and billing data as well as derivation of clear, actionable recommendations for action
Development, expansion and maintenance of KPIs, dashboards and reports for the strategic control of medical service processes
Identification of optimization areas in coding, documentation and billing and active participation in the design of efficient process improvements
Creation of complex performance and case analyses, including benchmarks, simulations and modelling (e.g. complex treatments, intensive care indicators, MD ratios, case mix development)
Support of stakeholders and medical controlling in strategic decisions as well as further development of company-wide reporting
Close cross-functional cooperation with coding specialists, management, medical directorates, nursing, controlling and IT

What you bring to the table

Completed studies in medical controlling, health economics, data/business analytics as well as several years of experience in the hospital environment, ideally in medical controlling/billing desirable
In-depth knowledge of the DRG system, hospital financing and medical documentation processes
Project and change competence: structured, assertive, service- and implementation-oriented; confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels
Confident use of analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, SQL)
You are characterized by a friendly, communicative appearance, have a high degree of reliability, resilience and flexibility and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
You have the legally required proof of immunization against measles
