As soon as possible, we are looking for a qualified and committed personality for the position of Chief Physician Neurology (m/f/d) with the option of a W3 professorship at MSH for our Department of Neurology at the Helios Clinics Schwerin, a house of maximum care.

What to expect

Management and professional responsibility of the Department of Neurology, including personnel management and development
Ensuring high-quality and economical patient care
Participation in the strategic development of the clinic and the department
Representation of the Department of Neurology in Patient Care at the Helios Clinics Schwerin as well as in the context of the professorship in research, teaching and transfer to be appointed
Development of teaching and learning materials for the training of medical students in the context of university teaching
Administering and grading exams, advising students, supervising clinical trainees and block interns as well as students in their practical year
Promotion of young scientists
Establishment and further development of clinical research in the field of neurology and interdisciplinary

What you bring to the table

Specialist (m/f/d) in neurology with extensive clinical experience and focus on neurovascular diseases
We are looking for a personality with a nationally visible clinical and academic profile in neurology
Special aptitude for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate
Fulfilment of all requirements for obtaining full authorisation for further training in the field of neurology
Additional academic achievements that have been achieved through a habilitation or equivalent scientific achievements or within the framework of a junior professorship
Excellent clinical-practical experience as well as strong social competence and empathy in dealing with all professional groups as well as with patients
Communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, commitment and assertiveness as well as a high degree of organizational skills
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
