Technician (m/f/d) Automation / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics

You will be part of an automation team and look after production facilities for the production of infusion solutions at the Friedberg plant. They ensure technical availability and work to increase the productivity of machines and systems. Maintaining the high quality of our products is our top priority.

These are your tasks:

• Support and continuous development of automated production systems and machines independently and in a team

• Analysing automation processes and systematically identifying weak points of individual machines and interlinked systems

• Active implementation of suitable measures to optimize productivity and quality

• Close cooperation with maintenance and plant managers to optimize preventive maintenance and increase plant availability

• Coordination of external suppliers and service providers for the implementation of optimization and conversion measures

This is what sets you apart:

• Completed further training as a technician or a comparable electrical engineering qualification

• Sound knowledge of PLC programming, preferably SIMATIC Step7 classic and TIA

• Good knowledge of servo drive and frequency converter technology (e.g. SEW, B&R)

• Experience in HMI project planning tools such as WinCC flexible and TIA Portal Advanced

• Basic knowledge of process engineering and pneumatics

• Experience in the use of smart cameras (e.g. Baumer, Cognex) and in dealing with industrial robots desirable

• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is an advantage

• Very good knowledge of German and good English, both written and spoken
