We are looking for a psychological psychotherapist or a psychologist in advanced training as soon as possible; Desirable with an additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG) or existing interest in completing an additional psycho-oncological qualification full-time or part-time in the Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics.

What to expect

You will work as part of our multi-professional treatment team in our Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics
In close coordination with the responsible senior physician, you will take on psychological/psychotherapeutic activities, including therapy planning and documentation
You will independently carry out individual and group therapies and take over the therapy planning
Psychological support, clarification and counselling sessions are part of your tasks
You will be responsible for diagnostics including initial psychological testing, progress and prognosis diagnostics and assessment
Your colleagues will receive your support in the consultation service and in the complex treatments on somatic wards - with a focus on palliative care and/or oncological wards in the house
You will participate in weekly team meetings and case discussions and prepare reports of findings as well as discharge letters

What you bring to the table

You have a broad range of disciplines and have a degree in psychology (Master's/Diploma) and completed training as a psychological psychotherapist (VT/TP/Systemic); An additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG) would be desirable
Committed cooperation in a multi-professional team is important to you and you demonstrate your ability to work in a team in a multi-professional setting
You have experience in leading and conducting psychoeducational group offers for various disorders (e.g. addiction, depression, anxiety)

The clinic treats patients with illnesses from the entire spectrum of mental and psychosomatic illnesses as well as psychosocial crises. Additional physical illnesses can be treated through close cooperation with the other clinics of the Helios Vogtland Clinic as part of the interdisciplinary consulting activities. In addition, special therapy offers are offered for borderline patients, pain, geriatrics and addictions, among others.
