To support our colleagues at the weaning unit in Bad Saarow near Berlin, which is connected to the intensive care unit, we are looking for a full-time or part-time

What to expect

Weaning a ventilated patient from a ventilator (if appropriately qualified)
Professional implementation and documentation of basic and treatment care, taking into account the special features of an intensive care unit
Patient monitoring and control
Professional care after the care process
Appreciative communication and cooperation with patients and all professional groups

What you bring to the table

Completed training as a nurse
Additional qualification as a respiratory therapist or the interest in acquiring it as well as experience in working on a weaning unit
Professional experience in health care and nursing, ideally with experience in intensive care or the willingness to deal with intensive care professionally
Knowledge of the care of patients with acute diseases, pathophysiology and medication
Extensive medication knowledge (modes of action, calculation) and mastery of the measures in the context of resuscitation
Commitment, resilience and a sense of responsibility
Acceptance of flexible working hours
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
