As soon as possible, we are looking for you at our Helios Vogtland-Klinikum location in Plauen as

Psychologist (m/f/d) with additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG) (m/f/d) in the Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy. Employment is full-time or part-time.

What to expect

Diagnostic assessment of psychosocial stress factors and current problems of people affected by cancer
If necessary, you can support your colleagues at the Psychiatric Clinic in patient care in the inpatient and day-care areas
Psychological/psycho-oncological counselling and support in psychological stress and conflict situations
Accompanying discussions in all phases of the oncological course of the disease for patients and their relatives
Support in crisis situations (relief and stabilisation)
Advising the affected patients on further support options such as e.g. outpatient services
Professional documentation of the conversations
Coordination with the responsible senior physician as well as cooperation and exchange with other professional groups involved
Your colleagues will receive your support in the further consultation service and in the complex treatments on other somatic wards - with a focus on palliative care and/or oncological wards in the house

What you bring to the table

You have a broad range of disciplines and have a degree in psychology (Master's/Diploma) as well as a completed additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG)
Committed cooperation in a multi-professional team is important to you and you demonstrate your ability to work in a team in a multi-professional setting
You have experience in leading and conducting psycho-oncological interviews.
