We are looking for a Physician Assistant (m/f/d) to support the medical service in our Central Emergency Department as soon as possible, on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.

What you can expect

Support with structured initial assessment of incoming patients
Organization of diagnostics, performance of appropriate examinations, evaluation and documentation of findings together with our physicians
Preparation of infusions, application of medication
Assisting with the care of surgical emergency patients
Coordinating daily processes in the ZNA and the affiliated ward

What you bring with you

Completed studies as a Physician Assistant with basic training as a nurse (m/f/d) or in geriatric care
Motivation, empathy and enjoyment of working with people and working independently
Analytical and implementation-oriented thinking and acting
Social skills as a team player
Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The emergency department (24/7) is interdisciplinary in accordance with the specialist disciplines located at the hospital. In accordance with the GBA decision on a tiered system of emergency structures in hospitals, Helios Klinikum Aue will ensure comprehensive emergency care (level III).

There is an observation ward in the emergency room, which will also be enlarged during the planned structural extension. During the day, one surgical and one internal medicine employee work directly in the emergency room. All other specialist disciplines send a consultant in a timely manner.
