For the start of training on 01.09. of each year, our clinic at the Herzberg/Osterode site is looking for a full-time apprenticeship as an Anesthesia Technical Assistant / ATA (m/f/d).

What to expect

Diverse tasks and activities in the different departments
Participation in the preparation, accompaniment and aftercare of anesthesia and standing aside of our patients on their way to the recovery room
Preparation of medication as part of anesthesia
Document necessary data properly and professionally
Learning the correct reprocessing and disposal of anesthesia materials
Learning how to handle medical equipment and materials professionally and appropriately
Theoretical phases at the Salzgitter Training Centre
Field assignments in other Helios clinics

What you bring to the table

A good secondary school leaving certificate or lower secondary school leaving certificate with at least two years of vocational training or professional license as a nursing assistant or technical college or university entrance qualification
Proof of health suitability by means of a medical certificate
Physical and mental resilience
A sense of responsibility, prudent independent work and a friendly and empathetic approach to patients and staff are a matter of course for you
Interest in medicine, natural sciences and technology
At least 1-week surgical internship desirable
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
