The Medical Clinic I represents the focus areas of gastroenterology, hepatology, diabetology, oncology and general internal medicine. The endoscopy department is equipped with four modern workstations. All endoscopic therapy procedures are offered. There is close cooperation between the medical clinics (gastroenterology and general internal medicine, cardiology and geriatrics).

The Cardiology Department of the Medical Clinic II is a state-of-the-art department. Coronary angiography and interventions (including IVUS/FFR), right heart catheters and valvuloplasties are performed invasively. A 24-hour PTCA readiness is established. All common long-term procedures, 4D echocardiography, TEE, stress echocardiography, spiroergometry as well as a pacemaker and ICD outpatient clinic are offered non-invasively. In the department, all pacemaker and ICD systems, including CRT, are implanted and followed-up.

Every year, around 2,000 inpatients are treated within the department. The Helios Hospital Überlingen is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany on Lake Constance.
